Jared’s early garden experiences were shared with his late grandfather, George. In the family’s yard in Southern California, Jared helped with preparing vegetable beds, planting seasonal vegetables, and maintaining the plants to fruition. These encounters fortified a love for all things plants.

After moving to San Francisco as an adult, Jared worked at the design-forward and always inspiring Flora Grubb Gardens. It was there that he learned choice design techniques and developed his passion for creating unique gardens.

Since 2012, Jared has been offering garden design, installation, and maintenance for a wide range of clients around the Bay Area.
